How to Hact into a WiFi Network Using Simple Tools!

This is the method I used! I downloaded a software called kismet which is an rpm which then I used on My Acer Laptop Inspiron!
Then I downloaded a software called aircrack_ng! You can get it from this link and click the rpm or if you are using OpenSuse, just click the ONE CLICK INSTALL on your right hand TOP SIDE!
Then you are ready! But some people prefer the whole aircrack_ng applications, though this is how I did it! With kismet, capture as many packets as u can! Nearly 250000 minimum if i remember correctly, but using aircrack tools you can reduce them, like disconnecting all the WiFi connections that are made to that AP (Access Point). Which would allow you to collect more handshakes which makes it easier for aircrack_ng to crack it!

But BEWARE, THIS USUALLY WORKS WITH WEP Keys!!!! So try to locate a WEP Key WiFi!

Y I do not explain all the switches and other tweaks and stuff is because u need to RTFM!!!!!!

How to remove a Windows password if you are able to boot that computer in linux!

There is a nice little tool called chntpw for linux! As far as I know, even if you are able to make a linux bootable floppy disk and add the chntpw tool also, ur all set up! The best way to use the tool is not to change the password, but to leave it blank and once you have cleared it, then you can login to windows and change the password to anything you want!!
NT/2k/XP/2k3/Vista are currently supported!! And it has been personally tested by me and it works!!! This is the version I used, chntpw (chntpw-080526-7.1.i586.rpm ) version 0.99.6 080526 (sixtyfour), (c) Petter N Hagen !!
My approach to windows systems is to clear the Administrator password and the login from Windows and then change the password of any other users you want!!
The Linux syntax for chntpw is smtn like this if you plan to clear the Administrator password! First list the USERS in the Windows system! For that:

chntpw -l /locationOfYourWindowsMount/Windows/System32/config/SAM

this would show you the list of users there are on the windows system!!  Go for a user that says its an admin account that is not locked! Doesnt really matter if its the Administrator account or not! The next command u type would look something like this!

chntpw -u Administrator  /locationOfYourWindowsMount/Windows/System32/config/SAM

Now all you need to do is follow what the program says! Do as it says and usually you cant mess it up, if you follow the instructions!!

Hope this might help someone out there and I will be back with more interesting stuff!! See you guys soon!!

By the way, I downloaded the chntpw rpm package to make it easy for me because I used OpenSUSE!! But you can always try other ways and share what you find!!

Hi! Seeing you guys after soooo looooong!!!!!

My blog is headed in a new direction now! Its going to be more technical and try and solve your computer related issues and problems!! Mostly Linux OpenSUSE 11.4!

But feel free to ask anything about Windows too!!! I will try and solve it the best I could!!
